Albolene, My Grandmother’s Beauty Secret

It has been a nostalgic week with it being the 3 year anniversary of my grandmother’s death. There are so many things I miss about her and so many things that trigger her memory each day. In working on this month’s beauty bits, I could not help but think about my grandmother’s flawless skin. There was never a blemish or bump on her face and to the touch her skin was always so soft and smooth. Every night she slathered her face in Albolene and she swore it was the secret to her flawless skin. Even wrinkles evaded her for the longest time and when they finally did appear, they weren’t dry or weathered, but instead soft and supple.

Taking a queue from her beauty regime, I have discovered that no cleanser quite rivals Albolene. Here’s why Albolene works so well:

1. It removes makeup yet keeps the moisture in and does this more effectively than other leading brands in its category, thus your skin looks younger and more supple.

2. It smooths rough skin.

3. You can use it to soften lips, just dab some one then use a clean, damp, soft toothbroush to brush off any flakes.

4. For a deeper clean, slather on face and neck and let sit five minutes. Then remove with Clarisonic. Do this twice a week.

5. It is also shown to be healthy for the skin. A clinical study published in the March, 2009 issue of the “Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology” shows that Albolene is effective in reducing mild-to-moderate eczema.
