Top 5 Favorite Perfumes

By Amy Bailey — June 30, 2014

Perfume can be a tricky matter. The wrong scent can evoke the gag reflexes making you ban fragrances from your life. However the right scent has the power to make you a loyal admirer for life. In the summer you can usually find me sans perfume with my preferred scent being a fresh bath with a bar of Dove, yet the other seasons bring a time to spritz, a time to add a little oomph to the daily routine.

Chanel Coco Noir
I recently discovered Coco Noir which may in fact be my favorite scent for life. It isn’t too floral and ever since the first time I wore it I had the response from both women and men of ‘You smell great.’ Coco Noir reinvents oriental fragrances for a magnetic scent.

Clean Warm Cotton
So pure, so fresh, it captures the feeling of a fluffy, warm towel just pulled from the dryer. Clean Warm Cotton wraps you in notes of Citrus, Lilac and Jasmine over a subtle but oh-so-sexy blend of Amber and Musk. A fresh, comforting, just-laundered scent.

Flowerbomb by Viktor and Rolfe
This floral explosion releases a profusion of flowers that has the power to make everything seem more positive. Magically evocative notes immediately awaken your deepest senses, giving you the impression of living life in your own secret garden, away from reality. Sambac jasmine, centifolia rose, cattleya orchid, and ballerina freesia bloom on a base of patchouli.

Bond No.9 Park Avenue
Bond No.9 brings artistry back to the perfume industry with creative scents and beautiful bottles. The light floral scent of infuriatingly discreet good taste can be found in Bond No.9 Park Avenue. A discreet but not too sweet mélange of fresh florals that floats through the air like a whiff of well-brewed tea.

Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue
An astonishing fragrance that evokes the spirit of Italy – the infinite sky, the deep sea and lighthearted joy. An irresistible fragrance of floral and fruity notes. Experience the intensity of jasmine, the freshness of bamboo and the charm of white rose combined with the true character of cedar wood, amber and musk.
